According to Newsweek (US), Flight Network ranked the 50 most beautiful beaches in the world based on advice and compiled votes from 1,200 journalists, editors, bloggers, and travel experts.
They assessed these beaches based on criteria such as natural beauty, remote location, climate, sand and water clarity, accessibility, average sunny days, and average temperature throughout the year.
Among the top 50 beaches, Bai Khem (Khem Beach) (Phu Quoc Island, Kien Giang) ranked 43 out of 50. Locals call this beach Bai Kem, located in the southern part of Phu Quoc Island, belonging to An Thoi town, about 25km from the central town of Duong Dong.
Bai Khem, also known as Bai Kem, got its name because the sand here is as smooth and white as cream, so every step you take along the beach causes the sand to sink beneath your feet, not muddying the water. This is the most unique feature, as there are few places with such distinctively white sand.
Alongside the long stretch of fine white sand, Bai Khem also boasts a charming crescent shape with emerald-green water, numerous rocks protruding from the sand, and a mild climate all year round, making it a destination you can visit at any time.
