To create the Fountain of the Sun God, artists from the Frilli family worked tirelessly for 2 years. Frilli is known as a family with over 150 years of experience in bronze casting and carving marble from the city of Florence - the capital of Tuscany, Central Italy.
The statues at the Fountain of the Sun God are sculpted from solid Marble Carrara blocks from the quarries located at the foot of the Apuan Alps in Italy. These quarries have been mined by the Romans for over 2000 years, and they are also where the marble blocks were extracted to create the famous David statue by the genius Michelangelo.
