On January 26th, "Kiss Of The Sea," a performance by ECA2 - a leading French production company, will officially debut in Sunset Town, Phu Quoc, bringing visitors a symphony of multimedia technology, fireworks, and a high-performance show by international artists.
Just a few days before the official debut, the stage and backstage are still brightly lit throughout the night. The directors, choreographers, and creatives from ECA2 along with the creative team from Sun Group, and 60 artists from 20 countries around the world are tirelessly rehearsing every evening.
Sharing his excitement before the show, Lucas, the team captain of the dance team from Argentina, said: "I gave up a big show to perform here. You can't imagine a show of this scale in your life, with countless fire, and water effects, and especially the amazing performances by artists from many countries around the world. I am eagerly counting down to the official opening day of the show to show off to my family and they can be proud of me - being a part of such a magnificent and challenging show."
Jean-Christophe Canizares, CEO of ECA2, the leading French multimedia production company and also the "creator" of "Kiss of the Sea," mentioned: "To execute the show, a large investment is needed, not only financially up to billions of dong but also time and effort".
From the invitation of Sun Group, ECA2 came to Vietnam for the first time 8 years ago, starting discussions 5 years ago, and practically initiating the project 3.5 years ago. "We started with the idea of creating a multimedia performance in Phu Quoc, and for the past 3.5 years until now, we have been able to make it happen. The scale of the show will be very impressive, with a combination of effects, and artists, on a huge seawater lake. In addition, the effects will soar over 65 meters into the sky. We believe that everything will tell an impressive story in a magnificent performance space on the opening day."
"Kiss Of The Sea" is a fictional story about the love story of a Phu Quoc boy and a guardian girl from a galaxy who unexpectedly come to Earth through a cosmic black hole. The power of love and solidarity helped the main characters overcome the dark forces threatening the safety of Earth and the universe. As a show of imagination and modern technology, "Kiss Of The Sea" also contains hidden Vietnamese cultural elements from effects to content such as shadow puppetry, the theory of five elements...
The show debuted on January 26th and is the 4th consecutive product added by Sun Group to the entertainment complex worth over 4,000 billion dong in Hoang Hon Town, in this year's festive season. With the combination of 8 performance technologies including fire, water, laser, light, music, projection, fireworks, and the performing arts presented in a sophisticated and spectacular manner by 60 actors from 20 countries around the world, "Kiss Of The Sea" promises to be one of the most anticipated outdoor shows when coming to Phu Quoc in particular and Vietnam in general.
